Our Place
We provide a newly renovated building with private bedrooms on each of the three floors. Each family is responsible for their own meals in a realistic, home-like environment; a communal
kitchen is equipped in an electric stove and oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
Each room is furnished in a homey, cozy style; has its own cable TV and refrigerator. There is a fenced-in playground for younger children to enjoy.
The house is located close to public transportation, shopping, schools, parks, and a public library.
About Us
The idea to open a shelter that would be more like a home, was born in 2003: temporary but cozy, with a caring, loving atmosphere that would help mothers and children
to feel more hopeful in their stressful situation.
The beginning was very challenging; if it wasn't for the support and generosity of our relatives and friends, we wouldn't be where we are today.
We opened the doors in February 2010 and we've been serving the homeless families ever since.
